Highlights of the Tour
King’s Block House
A well-known landmark on Mowbray Bridge, the King’s Block House is located on the slopes of Devil’s Peak. This massive stone structure was used as a signal station for communication between Table Bay and False Bay during the 1700s and 1800s.
Rhode’s Memorial
Rhodes Memorial was built in honour of the British Imperialist Cecil John Rhodes and has excellent views to the north, out over the Cape Flats, and on towards his hinterland.
Deer Park
This reserve falls part of the Table Mountain National Park and consists of trails and gravel roads perfect for hiking, trail running or mountain biking. Along with its beautiful scenery, the park is home to indigenous plants, fynbos and has the mountain as its backdrop.
