Located just off the northeastern coast of Madagascar’s main land, Sambatra Beach Lodge overlooks the southernmost point of Ile Sainte Marie, a paradisiacal island known as Ile Aux Nattes. You may reach Ile Aux Natte Island from Antananarivo by taking a 45-minute flight, followed by a 5-minute cab ride to the island’s point, and then a 10-minute pirogue across the estuary. You will be welcomed with friendly personal service and comfy beachfront bungalows. The 6 beachfront bungalows are just a few steps away from crystal clear waters and a wide beautiful beach for sunbathing – truly an island paradise. You will be treated with a “Home Away From Home” atmosphere, enjoying healthy, tasty home-cooked meals from our kitchen. Our friendly staff will be there for your every need.
You may relax in spacious comfort in one of the bungalows throughout your stay with us. Each bungalow is uniquely furnished and features an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, sink, and hot water shower. Each bungalow features an entrance leading to a private covered terrace where guests may enjoy breathtaking sunset views over the mainland of Madagascar and Sambatra’s Reef.
Due to the fact that it is owned and run by a South African, Sambatra Beach Resort is an English speaking establishment. Managers and staff speak English, French, and Spanish, so they can accommodate guests of all countries to the best of our ability.
