The Montagne d’Ambre National Park covers 18,200 hectare of a prominent volcanic massif and with its striking scenery, rainforest and waterfalls, it is one of Madagascar’s most visited natural attractions. Discover Ankarana a nature reserve with pinnacles, sacred caves, underground rivers and beautiful scenery. Nosy Be is Madagascar’s largest resort, it is known as the ‘’perfume island’’. While driving in the island you get magnificent views of large lakes, rice, pepper, coffee and cacao plantations. This is how it gets its name. Explore the majestic Nosy Komba which is the peak of the island at an altitude of 622 meters, covered by dense tropical forest and interestingly the map of the island looks like a giant turtle. Nosy Tanikely is an underwater reserve offering a rich diversity of marine life. Visit the Lokobe Reserve, a rainforest reserve that protects most of Nosy Be’s endemic vegetation.
