Best of Hwange National Park

The park is home to one of the highest concentrations of game in the world and is particularly known for its impressive elephant population as well as being an important sanctuary for rare and endangered Painted Dogs. Our new Best of Hwange Safari, part of our exclusive new product range, JENMAN Select, is the perfect opportunity to discover the magnificence of Hwange National Park.

Explore the wide open spaces of this largely undiscovered gem while staying in the ultimate luxury in bespoke eco-friendly lodges and camps. The 7-day safari experience starts in Victoria Falls and takes guests through two distinct regions of the park, allowing them to truly discover the very best of Hwange.

Best of Hwange National Park

The journey starts in the northern region of the park, a particularly lion rich area. This area had previously been somewhat neglected but is now one of the up and coming regions of the park with new luxury lodges opening up, allowing more travellers to discover the remote wilderness and grassy plains of the area. After their stay in the newly built Nantwich Lodge guests game drive through the park to their next location, a bespoke eco-lodge on a private concession bordering the park.

A concession has the added benefits of nighttime game drives and more exclusive experiences all while having access to the same prolific wildlife as the border with the park is fenceless. Here you will have the opportunity to take part in a Community Upliftment Experience, a wonderful chance to learn about the warmth and positive attitude of the Zimbabwean people as well as learn more about rural life in Zimbabwe and the challenges as well as solutions that are present.

The tour ends with the perfect goodbye to Zimbabwe, a visit to the mighty Victoria Falls. The last evening is spent on a romantic sunset cruise along the Zambezi River on the Zambezi Truth, a bohemian East African dhow.

There are three different sections to find Hwange National Park lodges, camps and private villas for the best accommodation and safari experience – RobinsSinimatella and Main Camp

As the day turns to dusk guests will enjoy refreshments and reminisce about their unforgettable holiday in the African bush.
