Pristine Waters of Nosy Be

Madagascar’s largest offshore island is also home to some of its most stunning beaches. Underneath the pristine waters of Nosy Be lies a world of untouched coral reefs just waiting to be explored. The best way for clients to submerge themselves amongst the tropical fish and colourful reefs is on a Nosy Be Dive & Nature Discovery Package, which includes 8 dives over 4 days. The rest of the days are for exploring the nature on land and relaxing. This package is a great add on to the Madagascar North Adventure tour.

Swim with Parrot Fish, Nosy Be

The tropical waters of Nosy Be remain largely undiscovered to the rest of the world, ensuring a pristine coral environment with a full range of colourful reef fish and large schools of snappers, barracuda, unicorn fish, etc. But there’s even more, keep an eye out as well for turtles, dolphins, manta rays and whale sharks which can be found year-round. During September and November, Humpback whales visit the area. It’s an absolute underwater paradise, rich in biodiversity and far away from large crowds, allowing for some excellent exploratory dives.

Besides reef diving, you can also visit some wrecks, a canyon, or even try nighttime fluoro diving at Sakatia. This is a completely unique experience where divers take along a special light and wear a special mask to see the sea creatures shine brightly with neon colours, almost resembling an underground rave but without the loud repetitive music. Instead surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of the calm ocean. Truly an experience like no other!
