Home Madagascar The Residence
A stunning property situated in verdant nature on the northwest corner of Nosy Be, the Residence’s beach and palm trees offer the tranquillity and splendour of a protected paradise. It’s the ideal place for travellers who want something different to typical hotel accommodation and to get off the beaten track.
Manafiafy Beach and Rainforest Lodge
Set on the South East Coast of Madagascar on a sheltered, forest-fringed bay, Manafiafy Beach and Rainforest Lodge is a 6 bungalow lodge offering barefoot luxury in a tranquil setting. Manafiafy itself is a sleepy fishing village steeped in history.
Ravintsara Wellness Hotel
A beautiful four-star resort located only 35 minutes from Nosy-Be airport facing Sakatia Island on the West Coast. This property combines nature and luxury incredibly well. You don’t have to compromise on all the luxury and comforts of an up-market hotel being in the middle of nowhere, where you can enjoy the surrounding wilderness to the fullest. The bungalows are individually designed and are set among a 5-hectare tropical garden – the ultimate island paradise.
Miavana
A stunning new ultra-luxury resort in Madagascar. Imagine spacious, tastefully designed, private villas all facing pure white sands and turquoise blue waters on a private island surrounded by vibrant coral reefs. This exclusive tropical paradise is found on Nosy Ankao, off the north-east coast of Madagascar. Nosy Ankao forms part of nearly 15,000 hectares of protected marine space that along with the neighbouring mainland makes up the Loky Manambato Protected Area.
Masoala Forest Lodge
This little gem is surrounded by white beaches, mile-long and wild, that the locals would rather keep a secret. Nestled in a private cove, surrounded by the pristine Masoala National Park (after which the lodge is named), the property is only accessible on foot or by boat. Masoala Forest Lodge is an eco-lodge that only accommodates up to 14 guests. It’s the epitome of peace and quiet away from the crowds on the north eastern tip of Madagascar.
Eden Lodge
Nestled in a private nature reserve on Nosy Be, Eden Lodge has 8 private chalets that cover an area of 8 hectares and surrounded by gin-clear water and white, sandy beaches. Only local materials – like Anjanojano stone, fallen tree trunks, coconut leaves and ravinala (traveller palm) leaves – were used in the lodge construction of the buildings.
Anjajavy Le Lodge
Perched on a peninsula next to the Anjajavy Reserve on the west coast of Madagascar, Anjajavy Le Lodge is a dream destination with twinkling waters, baobabs, and mangrove forest. Private decks are hidden away throughout the property for relaxation, and it’s a great place to spot the Madagascan fish eagle, Sifaka lemur and Cuvier’s oplure (a type of iguana). Since 2003, Anjajavy Le Lodge has been a member of the Relais & Châteaux association, from which it has been awarded the Environment Trophy.
Nature Lodge
Nature Lodge situated just outside the magnificent rainforest of Montagne d’Ambre National Park. The large balcony of your spacious wooden chalet offers superb panoramic views that stretch from the bay of Diego to the Mozambique Channel and the Indian Ocean. Meals will ensure you sample local fresh cuisine, while an exceptional selection of local cocktails will turn any sunset into a memorable occasion.
The restaurant at the lodge has a menu rich with local dishes that feature coconut, seafood and other fresh produce from the garden and mountain nearby.
Mandrare River Camp
Nestled under the shade of tamarind trees on the banks of the Mandrare River in southern Madagascar – the lifeblood of the region. Set in the grounds of an old colonial sisal plantation house, the camp is just three kilometres from the village of Ifotaka and opposite the sacred ancestral forests of the Antandroy Tribe.
