Paraa Safari Lodge • Murchison Falls National Park

Uganda

Description

Paraa Safari Lodge is in Murchison Falls National Park, located in the north west of Uganda over looking one of nature’s best kept secrets, the River Nile, on its journey from its source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert – here it is suddenly channeled into a gorge only six meters wide, and cascades 43 meters below.

Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s largest and oldest national parks, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Paraa Safari Lodge is situated on the northern bank of the Victoria Nile River, near the Murchison Falls. The lodge offers a luxurious and comfortable stay for visitors exploring the national park. The lodge provides various accommodation options, including standard rooms, suites, and cottages. The rooms are well-appointed and often offer panoramic views of the Nile River. Paraa Safari Lodge typically offers a range of facilities, including a swimming pool, dining areas, a bar, and conference facilities. These amenities cater to both leisure travelers and those seeking a comfortable base for conferences or events.

Each of the 54 rooms at Paraa Safari Lodge are complete with balcony and en-suite private bathroom. In 1864, when the famous British explorer Samuel Baker first glimpsed the power of the Murchison Falls, his accommodation was rudimentary at best. He would have been as stunned by Paraa Safari Lodge today! The choice of accommodation at the lodge varies – a cottage, suites, double, twin and single.
