Home Madagascar at Nosy Be

Home Madagascar the Residence is a stunning new property on the island of Nosy Be. Situated in verdant nature on the northwest corner of Nosy Be, the Residence’s beach and palm trees offer the tranquillity and splendour of a protected paradise. It’s the ideal place for travellers who want something different to typical hotel accommodation and to get off the beaten track.

Madagascar the Residence is ideally located between the many tourist spots of Nosy Be and the airport. The villas provide a home-away-from-home feel with all the services of an upmarket hotel. Everything has been designed for guests to have an unforgettable holiday.

The hotel consists of a collection of 15 spacious villas and studios that all have quick access to a long sandy beach, while most also have an infinity pool as well as a beautiful garden. The villas have 2, 3 or 4 rooms and combine high-quality Malagasy materials with all that is needed for modern comfort. All rooms have their own bathroom and patios, and each accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen, WiFI, a safe, and satellite TV.

All the villas have an attached building for the houses’ staff; a maid and a gardener. It is also possible to request the services of a chef or kitchen assistant. There is a well-stocked delicatessen for guests who would like to self-cater as well as a restaurant with a bar that is a lively and entertaining meeting point for guests. The restaurant has a pool and is the centre for various activities.

The Residence is situated in the Bay of Befotaka opposite Nosy Fahina Island and the area has a wonderful variety of ocean, nature and local community activities on offer. From stand up paddleboarding to helicopter tours to lunch or dinner with the local villagers, guests are absolutely spoilt for choice when they decide they’ve had enough of ultimate rest and relaxation by the pool. There is also a world-class spa built around a thousand-year-old Banyan tree on the property.

Local impact is at the heart of everything the Residence does and they are committed to responsible and sustainable development. The concept is firmly grasped in innovatively ensuring that luxury and responsible and sustainable tourism are inseparable. The villas are bio-climatic and were built with respect for the environment. 10% of the profits of the Residence are donated to the ‘Home Madagascar Association’ which works in education, development and local environmental protection, all specifically focused on the local area surrounding the Residence. Guests staying at the Residence indirectly participate in the development of the local area and support the efforts to improve local people’s lives and the local environment.
